all in the hopes this would keep him occupied and quiet!
Well that was fine for 20 mins................
He looked around in amazement at the stained glass windows and kept saying "Birdies" not sure what he was looking at but we could not see birds.
Then the procession came down the Aisle, he was silent and staring at the people.
So far so Good.
The first hymn threw him (not a great lover of people singing, but he looked all around and accepted the noise, although he did plug his ears once......which can usually be followed by him screaming and not being pacified! But bless him he was awesome and kept fairly quiet.
thought the 20-25 mins (which did seem like forever to me) we heard a few "Hoo Hoo's Thomas was riding all along the pews.
He did Begin to climb over the pews front and back of him and it was at this point we decided to leave Granddad in church while we went home to prepare supper.
All In all Jacob was fine, but we have a while to go (if ever) before he sits still through the entire service.
